How to access CELLIM OMERO

CELLIM OMERO is available to users from MUNI and other institutions. You can access it from anywhere; no university network or VPN connection is required.

1. Authenticate through e-INFRA.cz

Open CELLIM account management and authenticate through e-INFRA.cz. Select your institution and sign in with your institutional account.

If you do not have a suitable institutional account, contact cellim_support@ceitec.muni.cz. The facility can help arrange a sponsored MUNI account.

2. Apply for CELLIM OMERO membership

If you are not yet a CELLIM OMERO member, the website will display a membership application. Complete and submit it.

The CELLIM team must approve your application and assign you to the appropriate scientific group in e-INFRA.cz before you can create your OMERO login. The CELLIM registration form in Perun e-INFRA.cz covers facility rules, GDPR information, and scientific group registration.

Please allow approximately one day for approval. You will not receive a notification. After this time, return to CELLIM account management and authenticate again through e-INFRA.cz.

If you are already an approved CELLIM member, continue to step 3.

3. Create your OMERO username and password

Once your membership has been approved, use CELLIM account management to choose and create your OMERO username and password.

These are separate credentials: e-INFRA.cz authenticates you on the account management website, but cannot be used to sign in directly to OMERO.

After creating your OMERO login, wait 10 minutes for it to synchronise.

4. Sign in to OMERO

Open CELLIM OMERO and enter the OMERO username and password you created in step 3.

Already have an OMERO account?

Go directly to CELLIM OMERO and sign in.

If you have forgotten your username or password, open CELLIM account management and authenticate through e-INFRA.cz to recover your username or reset your password. No waiting period is required after changing an existing password.

Need help?

Contact cellim_support@ceitec.muni.cz if you need a sponsored account, cannot proceed after the membership approval period, or cannot sign in after the 10-minute synchronisation period.
