Odeon workstation
Odeon image processing server
Odeon is the main CELLIM image processing server for high-throughput microscopy image analysis, bioimage analysis and visualisation of large 3D/4D microscopy datasets. Odeon is a Windows Server 2019 system based on ACQUIFER HIVE and is designed for demanding remote image analysis workflows, batch processing and work with large microscopy data.
CELLIM is part of the Euro-BioImaging network, which makes CELLIM imaging and bioimage analysis services accessible to users from around the world. Thanks to this open-access infrastructure and Odeon's remote access, international users can use the CELLIM image processing server without needing to be physically present at CEITEC.
Users connect to Odeon through Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). Connection is possible from Windows, macOS and Linux, including from outside CEITEC. Users may also come to the CELLIM facility and connect to Odeon from one of the local CELLIM PCs.

Odeon is recommended for large microscopy datasets, remote image analysis, Imaris 3D/4D analysis, Zeiss Airyscan and deconvolution workflows, Leica LIGHTNING deconvolution, FLIM analysis and automated CellProfiler batch processing.
Odeon includes large local temporary storage for active processing. This storage is intended for short-term data processing, not long-term archiving. According to the CELLIM Data Policy, the default quota on Acquifer-Odeon is 1 TB per user for 30 days; after this period, data may be removed. Users are responsible for moving final data to their own long-term storage.
